Route Description

It is approximately 1 mile and 800′ of elevation gain up a beautiful, sub-alpine route to the hut. Although the distance to the hut is relatively short, the climb is steep in places and winter storms can make route finding difficult. While the summer route is marked year-round with blue diamonds, the winter route is not marked. Winter guests begin by following the summer route, but must choose their own route based on conditions and potential avalanche terrain. Plan and pace accordingly.

Snowmobiles/All motorized access is not permitted in this area.
