Section House from Boreas Pass Trailhead via Boreas Pass Road: 6.5 miles
From the popular Boreas Pass Trailhead, follow the Boreas Pass Road route, which climbs gradually along the old railroad grade for approximately 6.5 miles.
Section House from Boreas Pass Trailhead via Lower Baker’s Tank Trail: 6.2 miles
From the same trailhead, you can also take the Lower Baker’s Tank Trail by following the single-track trail parallel to Boreas Pass Road. This route provides more climbs and curves before it ends at Baker’s Tank on Boreas Pass Road. Follow the road the rest of the way to the Section House.

From the intersection of Highway 9 (Main Street) and Boreas Pass Road (County Road 10) in Breckenridge, travel east for 3.7 miles to the winter trailhead parking area.
Please park in the designated section for overnight parking at the Boreas Pass Trailhead and do not leave valuables in your vehicle.
